Admission to the Alexandria University
EMBA Program is highly competitive. The EMBA Program is a highly
interactive and demanding program and given the limited size of
classes, only qualified and dedicated students are awarded admission.
Candidates must have:
An undergraduate degree.
Candidates should complete the equivalent of an Egyptian bachelor’s
degree. The Admissions Committee reserves the right to review the
academic records of applicants and to determine whether the academic
credentials presented from a non-Egyptian institution qualify for
consideration.
A
minimum of five years of managerial, professional or entrepreneurial
experience that in turn reflects an upward progression in managerial
responsibilities. The applicant must hold a current middle- to
senior-level management position with significant responsibility and
must show a strong potential for holding high level leadership
positions in their current organizations.
Although courses in business are not
required for admission, candidates are expected to have a
satisfactory background in communication skills, computer
applications (including word processing and spreadsheets), and
mathematics.
Fluency in English is mandatory. Candidates whose native language is
not English must demonstrate fluency in English by taking the Test
of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
Two
letters of recommendations from superiors or professors who know the
applicants capabilities and potential for success in the program.
